A separate "arm" of the outreach is Ector County Greater Works (ECGW).
Most of our donors want their monies to work in their own county. Although ECGW is a dba of Ward County Greater Works, Inc. Separate accounts are established along with separate accounting records such that Ward County monies stay in Ward County and Ector County donations stay in Ector County.

Ector County Greater Works averages 800+hours a month in volunteer hours. Many of the clients are referred from LINKS, 211, Salvation Army, Adult Protection and by word of mouth. Currently ECGW monthly averages 100 families for the Food Distribution Pantry. Donated furniture comes from a local storage facility and individual families. A Mission Room (clothing,household items), Lending Library (books and tapes) and Used Medical Supply program are operating at 2616 N. Maple, just across the street and east of Parker Heights Church.
Resurrection Riders offers training in horseback riding, grooming and emphasizes Christian principles for the youth. Another arm is animal therapy for young people with special needs.
