A separate "arm" of the outreach is Ector County Greater Works (ECGW).

Most of our donors want their monies to work in their own county.  Although ECGW is a dba of Ward County Greater Works, Inc.  Separate accounts are established along with separate accounting records such that Ward County monies stay in Ward County and Ector County donations stay in Ector County.

The Ector County arm operates in donated space at Parker Heights Christian, 1414 E. University in Odessa, Texas.  Office hours are Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.  432-366-0901

Emergency calls are referred to Eva Reed.

Ector County Greater Works averages 500 hours a month in volunteer hours.  Many of the clients are referred from LINKS, Slavation Army,  Adult Protection and by word of mouth.  Currently ECGW averages 30 families for the Food Distribution Pantry.  Donated furniture comes from a local storage facility and individual families.  A Mission Room (clothing), Lending Library (books and tapes) and Used Medical Supply program are underway and awaiting the move to the new facility just east of PHC.
